SAP/QAPP Addendum
Lodi-125 N Stockton
Final
March 24,2025
feet bgs and from 14 to 15 feet bgs using TeflorJm tubing. The screen interval will consist of sand pack
material. The Toeroek Team will then add a 1-foot interval of dry bentonite above the sand pack material and
hydrated bentonite above the dry bentonite to the ground surface. The permanent soil gas wells will be
allowed to equilibrate for at least 48 hours before sampling. Soil gas sampling will not occur within 24 hours
after a precipitation event.
Before sampling,a shut-in test and soil gas well purging will be performed on each temporary soil gas well.
Soil gas samples will be collected into 1-liter SUMMA®canisters under a helium shroud to evaluate if ambient
air was introduced into the sample canister during the sample collection. Following the 1-liter SUMMA®
canister sample collection,a second sample will be drawn through a laboratory-provided sorbent tube using a
syringe per laboratory instructions.
Soil gas samples will be analyzed for VOCs (EPA Method TO-15) and helium (as a leak tracer gas) (ASTM
D1946).
All soil gas sample handling will accord with analytical laboratory requirements outlined in Site-Specific
QAPP Worksheet#19. Samples will be collected, labeled, recorded, packed, and shipped per Toeroek Team
SOP#021-1,Soil Gas Sampling;SOP #017-2,Recording of Notes in Field Logbook;and SOP #015-1,
Packaging and Shipping Samples, and EPA Environmental Response Team SOP#1704,SUMMA®Canister
Sampling,in Appendix C and per Site-Specific QAPP Worksheet#19.
6.7 Ambient Air Sampling
Ambient air samples will be collected at the Site to evaluate whether hazardous vapors are accumulating
inside the unoccupied office building. The indoor locations will be located in each of the building's rooms
(Figure 4).The indoor and outdoor air samples will be analyzed for VOCs (EPA Method TO-15 SIM).
All air sample handling will accord with analytical laboratory requirements outlined in Site-Specific QAPP
Worksheet#19. Samples will be collected, labeled, recorded, packed, and shipped per Toeroek Team SOP
#026-1,Indoor Air Sub-Slab Soil Gas Sampling Methods;SOP#017-2,Recording of Notes in Field
Logbook;SOP#015-1,Packaging and Shipping Samples in Appendix C,and Site-Specific QAPP
Worksheet#19.
54
