Safety Equipment <br />All site personnel are required to wear the following personal protection equipment (PPE) issued <br />by the landfill operator: <br />• Hard hat <br />• Safety vest with reflective tape <br />• Safety glasses <br />• Work boots <br /> <br />In addition to the above PPE, the landfill operator also makes available the following PPE to all <br />employees: <br />• Earplugs <br />• Dust masks <br />• Work gloves <br /> <br />First aid kits and fire extinguishers are located at the scale house and maintenance building. <br />Heavy equipment is equipped with fire extinguishers. <br /> <br />6.1.10. Personnel Requirements and Training <br />6.1.10.1. Site Superintendent <br />Job Description: Performs responsible supervisory work for refuse disposal operations. <br />Minimum Qualifications: <br />• High school diploma <br />• Three years’ experience in landfill operations in California <br />• California drivers’ license <br /> <br />6.1.10.2. Lead Worker <br />Job Description: Performs responsible supervisory work for refuse disposal operators under the <br />direct supervision of the Site Superintendent. The lead worker acts as Site Superintendent <br />when the Site Superintendent is absent. <br />Minimum Qualifications: California drivers’ license. <br /> <br />6.1.10.3. Equipment Operators
