The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been <br /> addressed for JC AIR ACADEMY INC as of July 31, 2025. <br /> Open violations from September 03, 2024 inspection <br /> Violation#26-3030017-Containers of hazardous waste closed except when adding or removing waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> -One 55 gallon metal drum observed in the hazardous waste storage area was overflowing with used oil filters . <br /> -Four plastic 5 gallon container containing used oil was observed in the hazardous waste storage area inside the shop <br /> was missing lids. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and storage, <br /> except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#28-3030022-Incompatible waste in containers managed properly to prevent a reaction. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following incompatible wastes are stored in containers in a way that is not in compliance with <br /> these sections: Multiple used filters were observed in a orange 5 gallon bucket without lids and are not placed into the <br /> used oil filter drums. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations section 262.16. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately make changes to the hazardous waste storage to eliminate incompatible waste <br /> storage. Describe how the waste storage has been changed to correct the violation.
