The following is an itemized list of CP22 - HW SQG violations that have not been addressed for JC AIR ACADEMY INC as of July 31, 2025. Open violations from September 03, 2024 inspection Violation#29-3030058-Empty containers>5 gallons properly managed. OBSERVATION: One 55 gallon drum observed in the storage shed was observed to be empty without labels. REGULATION GUIDANCE: Empty containers which previously held a hazardous material, including hazardous waste must be managed per Title 22 California Code of Regulations(CCR)section 66261.7. Refer to this section and California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage within one year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): ❑ Supporting documents included Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: Violation#38-3030004-Properly manages used oil filters and fuel filters. OBSERVATION: Containers of used metal oil or fuel filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed on-site. The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: -Multiple used filters were observed in a orange 5 gallon bucket without lids and are not placed into the used oil filter drums. -Three black 55 gallons drums were observed in the hazardous waste storage area with no accumulation start dates. -One black 55 gallon drum was observed in the hazardous waste storage area REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil Filters. California Health &Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately drain all metal oil and fuel filters of free-flowing liquid, store them in closed, rainproof containers. Label the container with the words"drained used oil filters"or"used gasoline filters", depending on the contents. Mark the container with an accumulation start date. Dispose of all used filters stored on-site greater than one year. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are regulated as hazardous waste.
