Refer to this section and <br /> California Department of Toxic Substances Control guidance for more information. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label all empty containers with the date they were emptied and manage within one <br /> year of that date. Manage the container per Title 22 CCR section 66261.7. Provide a corrective action statement and <br /> supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a (Minor)Violation. <br /> 33 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3030028 -Weekly inspections of the hazardous waste tank system conducted <br /> OBSERVATION: The hazardous waste tank for 100 gallon waste oil observed inside the trail #1 is not being inspected <br /> weekly. Hazardous waste tanks must be inspected weekly as described in this section. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations section 262.16 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately start to inspect the hazardous waste tanks as required by this section. Provide a <br /> corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a (Class 2) Violation. <br /> 38 CA Code of Regulations 66266.130 3030004 - Properly manages used oil filters and fuel filters <br /> OBSERVATION: Containers of used metal oil or fuel filters out of compliance with the storage rules were observed on- <br /> site. The following used metal oil or fuel filter containers were on-site: <br /> -Three black 55 gallon drums used to contained used oil and fuel filters were observed to be improperly closed. The lids <br /> did not have the seal rings and were observed to be lifted. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66266.130 Management of Used Oil <br /> Filters. California Health & Safety Code section 25250.22 Fuel Filters <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Label the container with the words "drained used oil filters" or"used gasoline filters", depending <br /> on the contents. Used filters not stored, handled and disposed of according to this section are regulated as hazardous <br /> waste. Provide a corrective action statement, disposal records and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a (Minor)Violation. <br /> 48 CA Code of Regulations 66262.34(d)(2) 3010022 - Posted emergency information next to the telephone <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas <br /> directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of <br /> the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of the <br /> fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the modified contingency plan information or keep a copy of a complete <br /> consolidated emergency response /contingency plan on-site.
