Under Finding 132 and Table 17, Item 8 of the WDR, <br /> Forward, Inc. is required to"submit an updated and revised cost estimate for initiating and completing corrective <br /> actions of all known or reasonably foreseeable releases. The revised cost estimates must consider the future <br /> costs to cleanup groundwater[north of the Forward Landfill]and other potential releases from the expanding <br /> [Forward] Landfill footprint." <br /> The purpose of the financial assurance is to review and calculate potential corrective action costs to address <br /> current or reasonably foreseeable release(s) at the site in accordance with Title 27 California Code of Regulations <br /> § 20380(b). The last financial assurance review for corrective action was completed by Geo-Logic Associates <br /> (GLA) in 20142, with Forward, Inc. increasing the costs annually based on the cost of living each year. This report <br /> presents an updated evaluation of the current and anticipated corrective action measures required to comply with <br /> the WDR and Cleanup and Abatement Order R5-2017-0703 (CAO)3.
