Osvaldo Cordero
Forward, Inc.
March 3, 2025
1.1 Surface Water Monitoring Network
Four surface water monitoring points have been established for the Site. The surface water monitoring locations
are identified in Exhibit 1 and shown on Figure 1.
Exhibit 1. In the event
that compliance levels are exceeded, Forward, Inc. makes regular adjustments to the landfill gas extraction
system to optimize efficiency of the landfill gas extraction system and continues to install additional landfill gas
extraction wells, on an as needed basis.
1 .3 Water Quality Monitoring Network
The groundwater monitoring network currently includes 104 groundwater monitoring wells and two domestic wells
as shown on Figure 1. Five of the monitoring wells are dual-nested well pairs, with shallower"A"wells and deeper
"B" piezometers; the"B" piezometers are sampled only if the associated "A"well is dry. Domestic well DW-9690
was previously included as part of the monitoring well network until it was abandoned as part of a residential
property demolition in 2022.
5 RWQCB,2008.Cleanup and Abatement Order R5-2008-0714,for Forward Landfill,San Joaquin County.
