(KLE//VFELOER
Bright People,Bight Solutions.
2.4 PROPOSED FUTURE SITE USE
It is Kleinfelder's understanding that the City is planning on razing the existing Site building and three
north adjoining buildings and redeveloping the city block with buildings to support government
operations.
2.5 REGIONAL AND SITE GEOLOGY
The Site is located in the northern portion of the San Joaquin Valley, which is a structural trough bound in
the region of the Site by the Diablo Ranges to the west, the Sacramento Valley to the north, and the Sierra
Nevada Mountain Range to the east. Just north of Stockton lies the Stockton fault line (California
Geological Survey [CGS\, 2023).The Site is underlain by Quaternary age stratified soils (EDR, 2024a). The
Site and surrounding area are at an elevation of between 15 and 20 feet above mean sea level (amsl).
2.6 REGIONAL AND SITE HYDROGEOLOGY
Groundwater depth from a well located approximately 250-feet east and 0.33-mile south of the Subject
Property (Well 379511N1212905W001) was reported at a depth of 15 feet below ground surface (bgs),
and a second well located approximately 0.77-mile northeast of the Site (Well 379511N1212794W001)
was reported at a depth to groundwater at approximately 19 feet bgs.
Based on GeoTrackerT" site T0607715874 for the previously identified "Cancun Restaurant",their nearest
wells (MW-1 and MW-5), located approximately 400 feet due east from the Site, have depth to
groundwater between 12.08 and 12.49 feet bgs. In their most recent groundwater monitoring report, the
depth to water ranged from 11.83 to 13.17 feet bgs (FREY, 2024).
Based on recorded groundwater flow directions from the above-referenced report, groundwater flow
direction is towards the northeast (Stratus, 2024).
Fluctuations of the groundwater level, localized zones of perched water, possible flooding and soil
moisture content should be anticipated during and following the winter and spring rainy seasons.
Groundwater flow direction is based on regional information sources. Site-specific conditions may vary
due to a variety of factors including geologic anomalies, utilities, nearby pumping wells (if present), and
other hydrogeological factors.
25001155.006A/ST0240174614 Page 3 of 17 November 8, 2024
©2024 Kleinfelder www.kleinfelder.com
