KLE/NFELOER
Bright People,Bight Solutions.
Samples collected, but not requested for analysis will be held by the laboratory for potential analysis
based on review of the initial sample results.
If any of the Title 22 metals are detected in soil at concentrations greater than 10 times their respective
State Soluble Threshold Limit Concentration (STLC), or 20 times greater than their respective Federal
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) limits,
Kleinfelder will direct the laboratory to perform soluble analysis for those metals. If multiple samples
exceed STLC times 10 or TCLP times 20 thresholds, solubility testing will be performed on the sample with
the highest concentration as a preliminary waste assessment.Solubility tests may include TCLP for Federal
RCRA hazardous waste and/or California Waste Extraction Test (CA-WET) for California regulated
hazardous waste.
Laboratory analysis will be performed on an expedited 3-day turn-around-time (TAT). If TCLP or CA-WET
analyses are required, the TAT will likely be extended to run additional analyses. The extraction of soluble
metals takes 48 to 72 hours, the analysis can be performed on a 24-hour TAT at the Client's request. Any
follow-up testing based on initial results will be performed within the applicable hold times.
25001155.006A/STO24O174614 Page 10 of 17 November 8, 2024
©2024 Kleinfelder www.kleinfelder.com
